John Collins Firework Display This year, due to the Bank Holiday falling before May Day, the Grand Firework Display will take place on Sunday 7th May 2023. The date of this year's firework display has yet to be confirmed.   The annual Grand Fireworks Display is provided by the kindness of John Collin’s Funfairs, to celebrate the Knutsford ‘Royal’ May Day.  The display usually takes place on the Sunday, after May Day and at dusk on Knutsford Heath. Knutsford ‘Royal’ May Day is the highlight of the town’s calendar and takes place every year on the first Saturday in May. However, in 2023 and due to the King's Coronation, May Day will take place the following week on 13th May. The procession through the town and the crowning of the May Queen began in 1864 by the Vicar of Knutsford, the Rev. The Lions Community Fair This year we will have the usual mix of charity and trade stalls, food and drink vendors and entertainment for all the family.  More details on home page poster.  In the arena It's a Dog Knockout will return (as in 2018) with a chance for people to give their dogs a chance to demonstrate their skills!There will be no charge for general charity/trade stalls but everyone must bring their own gazebo and table etc. and pre-registration is required - see forms below: Stall Booking form and Information        Stall Booking Form only
